The bible says ” The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective” James 5:16. Our children need our prayers more than ever. They’re bombarded daily with issues that are contradictory to the christian faith.
Prayer is a powerful, powerful weapon against sin. Ephesians 6 tells us to put on the full armor of God so that we can take our stand against the devil’s schemes. And to pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests.
We also know that children are an inheritance from God. A blessing. A gift. Why wouldn’t you want to pray God’s blessing and protection upon them. 31 days of praying for your children is the only way you can cover them in protection in every sense.
As their parents, whether they’re still small or grown, we want to keep our kids safe and protected and to help them make the right choices. We also want them to know God. I mean to fully know God and love him with all their hearts, mind, and strength. To have a burning love for him that surpasses all things.
But we can’t be everywhere, see everything, control anything, or change hearts. But there is one who can. Our God is an awesome, powerful God who can turn the hearts of our children to him. Who can protect, love, direct, and motivate.
Praying for our children is a must. They need the hedge of prayer hovering over them daily. That’s why I’ve compiled a list of 31 ways to pray for your children. Be sure to pick up the list located at the bottom of the page.
