The following is the statement of faith for Rebecca Toon and all the content posted at HomeschoolontheRanch.com. I am a conservative evangelical Christian, which will be reflected in the content and resources offered here.
- I believe that the bible is God’s perfect word and that it is written from divine inspiration from God himself. (2 Timothy 3:15-16).
- I believe that their is only one God in three persons. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit and that they worked together in the creation of the world. (Genesis 1:1; Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 3:16-17; Matthew 28:19; John 10:30).
- I believe that Jesus is Lord. I believe Jesus is the promised Messiah. I believe in His virgin birth. His sinless life. His atoning death on the cross. His resurrection. And his assencion into heaven to sit at the right hand of God.
- I believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; those who are saved to the resurrection of life, and those who are lost to the resurrection of damnation
- I believe in both heaven and hell.
- I believe that whoever believes and calls on Jesus will not perish but have eternal life.
- I believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose in-dwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life
