Thanksgiving is just around the corner, ya’ll. This is one of my favorite holidays. I love the traditions, the decorations, and most importantly, the food. This time of year always brings back so many fond memories of deer camp and gathering at Grandma and Papa’s.
I also remember all the Thanksgiving crafts we did in school. Holidays were my favorite time of the school year. I loved all the crafts we did.
Since my children don’t go to public school the craft part is on my shoulders. I want my children to remember celebrating holidays with fun crafts and have fond memories of it.
I’m not a crafty person. I hate to take on a craft that takes hours and hours to accomplish, so I’ve put together a list of easy Thanksgiving crafts for those of you who aren’t exactly craft extraordinaires, so to speak.
Easy Thanksgiving Crafts for Kids
Fall Table Centerpiece
This is crazy easy. All you need is a vase, candy corn, flowers, and a papertowel tube placed in the middle to hold the flowers. Isn’t this beautiful?
I taught an arts and crafts class at our local co-op one semester and the kids loved leaf crafts. Fall leaves make the best craft projects don’t they? All you need for this craft is paper, a piece of felt, googly eyes, glue, and pretty fall leaves. Voila, simple and easy for your kiddos.
Family Thankful Tree
This one may not be as simple as the others, but it’s well worth your time if you want to focus on thankfulness this Thanksgiving. This is something we’ll be using this year. I’ve used many ways over the years to practice thankfulness and I’ve never seen one quite like this one. Go check it out.
Thanksgiving Turkey Pinecone Craft
This cute craft uses pine cones, feathers, pipe cleaner, and googly eyes. It’s super easy. This is a fun way to dress up your mantle or Thanksgiving table.
These would be a great thank you gift for your kids to make for Sunday School teachers, teachers, or anyone else who helps your children.
I don’t know what it is about this craft, but it has always been one of my favorite to do. No matter the mistakes it always turns out super cute. There’s no way to mess it up.
Here’s a little different take on a turkey treat bag. All you need is fall colored candy,Turkey Popcorn Treat Bags, googly eyes, and baggies from the dollar tree to finish it out.

At first glance I thought these would be too difficult, but they’re really easy. Involve your kids in getting the Thanksgiving table ready with this elegant craft.
These are a little different take on pinecone napkin rings. If your table isn’t quite as elegant or maybe a little more colorful these are perfect. They would go great on my Thanksgiving table. I love the hand stamped lettering.

Thanksgiving Table Flower Pumpkin Centerpieces
How pretty are these? These are another when I saw it I thought “there’s no way I could do this one.” But upon looking at it, this would be super easy and super pretty. Just use pumpkins or squash and clean them out. This calls for real flowers, but let’s be real here, we’re working with young kids and un-crafty moms, so I’d use artificial flowers. Place a floral block inside and stick your flowers in. Super easy and your kids will love cleaning out the pumpkin. Maybe.
I can’t get over how cute these are. All you need is leaves, pumpkins, skewers, and googly eyes (draw them on if you don’t have any).
Help your little ones celebrate Turkey day with these cute bead pins. This is a simple and easy way to craft for Thanksgiving. Beads and safety pins. How much simpler can it get?
These lanterns are absolutely gorgeous. Ya’ll, all you need is glass, leaves, and mod podge. They are a great way to decorate for Thanksgiving and your kids will have so much fun making them.

Grab you some feathers, construction paper, and googly eyes for this fun little craft.
Thanksgiving Flower Pot Turkey
Only 5 supplies are needed for this Thanksgiving craft. 6 if you count your child’s hand. Supplies needed are a terra cotta pot, straight wine cork, googly eyes, foam paper, and a hot glue gun.
Fine Motor Turkey Craft
Aren’t these the cutest little turkeys? The supplies are simple and the how-to is easy. Your kids will really get into making these.
I have a soft spot for hand and foot print crafts. I love to look back after a few years and see how tiny their little hands and feet were. Cue the water works.
If your preschooler loves juice boxes this is the craft for you. With just construction paper, scissors, glue, and googly eyes this is sure to make snack time fun.
I’ve seen tons of hand print crafts but never a fist bump craft. Here’s you something a little different to try.
If you have paint, paper plates, glue, and scissors at home your good to go. Just add in ribbon and googly eyes and your kids will have a cute hat to wear Thanksgiving day.
