When we first decided to homeschool I dived deep into the heart of Google to investigate every homeschool curriculum there is. While that wasn’t actually possible, I did read tons of homeschool curriculum reviews from various homeschoolers who have been there, done that.

These reviews were so helpful to me as a new homeschool mom and to this day I still like to read them. However, it took up so much of my time trying to find the right reviews. Information overload can get a little overwhelming, too.
I’ve collaborated with a few other veteran homeschool moms to put together a massive list of homeschool curriculum reviews because who has time to sit and search them out. I’ve also included some of my favorites that helped me to decide what to use.
These are homeschool moms in the heart of it just like you and these are their opinions of the curriculum they used. I’ve added more than one on a few of them because we need more than one opinion on the matter.
Don’t have time to go through them? Pin to Pinterest now and read later.
Don’t like or don’t have the time to read?
That’s fine. I’ve provided a list of 36 YouTube homeschool curriculum reviews at the bottom.

You Tube Homeschool Curriculum Reviews
I loved watching YouTube curriculum review videos. They’re much more in depth and able to show you visually what was so great or not so great about the curriculum. Usually the creator was very honest with what they liked and didn’t like about a curriculum. Here are a few of my favorites and others I found based on views and how engaging they were on video. In no apparent order, they are…

When Considering Homeschool Curriculum Reviews
When considering reviews take into account that everyone has their own opinion and everyone learns differently. Just because something worked or didn’t work for one family doesn’t mean it will be the same for you.

When you’re looking for a curriculum think about your kids learning style and your teaching style. If you don’t like to sit down at the table and do workbooks to learn history then a workbook based history curriculum isn’t going to be right for you.
When it came right down to it, I always went back to Cathy Duffy Homeschool Curriculum Reviews. She has a very thorough review on most homeschool curriculums. She writes in detail what the curriculum is and lists the pros and the cons of each along with the price.
I hope that it was helpful having a massive list of curriculum reviews in one place and not overwhelming.
What a fantastic resource! I’m sharing. 🙂
