Create these 7 adorable animal ornaments with felt, paper, or foam with these easy patterns!
Handmade ornaments are my favorites especially if the kids make them. They have so much fun making them and feel a sense of accomplishment when they see their creations hanging proudly on the tree.
These patterns were designed with little hands in mind. There are seven different animals included; Owl, deer, fox, bunny, turkey, penguin, and sheep! The deer is my favorite I do think. Although the penguin out of glitter foam is all kinds of cute!
What you need:
- Different colors of Felt (you could also use them with paper, foam, or cloth)
- glue
- googly eyes
- scissors
- printed patterns
Cut out the pattern pieces in the colors of their choice. They may need help with the cutting especially the smaller pieces. We have so many different colored ones here even a red and white penguin wearing a nice added top hat. Let them get creative. They can even add accessories to make them personalize like hats or scarfs.

Glue the pieces in the order given on the pattern pieces and add a ribbon or hook to hang them on the tree. Super Easy with great results!
